The Chaplains Corps is made up of Christian chaplains, counselors, and business partners on a mission to bring hope and comfort to First Responders who sacrifice their lives for our communities. We are a non-profit corporation registered with the state of Pennsylvania and an approved 501(c)3 corporation with the IRS.
WHY WE SERVE
The Chaplains Corps of Lancaster County serves all emergency service organizations in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. We provide physical, emotional, and spiritual care to emergency responders, their families, and victims of critical incidents. We aim to bring hope in desperate situations.
WHAT WE DO
We strive to serve both emergency responders and victims to help manage critical incident stress and defend against Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). We serve emergency responders, allowing them to maximize their skills and to minimize the effects of critical incident stress and PTSD.
HOW WE SERVE
Our chaplains respond to critical and emergency incidents and serve on-site by:

Provide food and water stations on site

Create a bridge between the Incident Command the victims

Deliver refreshments to emergency responders

Provide shelter areas on location for responders and victims

Secure temporary housing in hotels/motels for victims

Coordinate with grocers and restaurants to provide meals during extended incidents
